Too long!
Posted on | August 8, 2011 | No Comments
Real life has distracted me for a while, but I really want to get back to regular posting here, so this is just a quick post to let anyone who’s listening know that Manlove Ebooks will be back to regular posts starting this week. The plan is 3 posts a week for a while, hopefully picking up if my schedule allows.
As a reminder (not that I’m sure I’ve mentioned this here before), I’m over at goodreads as manloveebooks and at twitter as (you guessed it) manloveebooks
In the meantime (while I work on some posts) I’d love to hear about any recently published M/M ebooks you’ve enjoyed, or (for you authors who might be reading) please feel free to pimp any m/m (or m/m/f) ebooks you’ve got that came/come out during the first 3 quarters of 2011 (that is Jan 1 – Sept 30). Fourth Quarter will be addressed in future posts.
I got a Kindle 3 ereader!
Posted on | December 28, 2010 | No Comments
For Christmas, I got a Kindle 3 (wi-fi) ebook reader. This gift was totally unexpected, and I’ve been enjoying the heck out of putting this thing through its paces over the last few days. I’m getting a hang of the work-flow and the interface, as well as the ebook managing program Calibre. I’ll post soon about my honeymoon with this ereader, both the plusses and the minuses, but in the meantime, feel free to leave me links in comments to both your favorite Kindle/ebook themed blogs and apps, and to any free ebook sample downloads from your favorite gay romance authors (or from yourself, if you’re a m/m author).
DADT Anthology
Posted on | October 20, 2010 | No Comments
Slowly (oh so slowly) but surely, the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy is being chipped away. While I look forward eagerly to the day DADT is really most sincerely dead, I have to admit, I’m eager to check out this DADT-themed anthology from romance ebook publisher MLR Press.
(From Laura Baumbach at Fiction with Friction)
“Next month MLR Press will release our own DADT message in our anthology HONORABLE SILENCE with stories by Maura Anderson, George Seaton, William Maltese, and Lex Valentine.”
No info on it at Amazon yet, and I’m not sure how much will be erotica and how much will be romance but I’m keeping my eyes open, because I’m a sucker for m/m military romance.

New WordPress Theme

I’ve been poking around in search of a new theme for the blog, and was in the mood for something 3 column. After a little googling, I found this list of free 3 column themes. Dilectio and Neoclassical caught my eye, but in the end, I settled on Elements of SEO by Alibi Productions. It still needs a little tweaking, but I already like the feel.
